Formerly the Bachelor/Bachelorette event, this year has taken on a whole new vibe
in honor of some outstanding Gulf Coast community members.
Invite all of your friends to join you.
Tickets are only $30!
So put on your party shoes and be there!
The 2015 Honorees were chosen for their love of the Gulf Coast and their tremendous support of our neighbors in need.
The Honorees are:
Cree Cantrell & Colby Harrelson
Jake & Misty Carter
David & Christen Duhe’
Wade & Amy Howk
Jeffrey & Lynn O’Keefe
Bill Raymond & Sammy Beaugez
Roland & Sharon Weeks
Philanthropy is important to each of the Honorees, therefore, they have agreed to put together a fabulous package to be auctioned live on June 23rd.  They are also competing to raise the most money for mental health and wellness.  You can help them.  How?  By donating a gift certificate or other item for their auction package, by purchasing tickets and mentioning their name, or by becoming a corporate sponsor.  You can contact them or Kay Daneault, Executive Director of Mental Health Association of South MS @ 228-864-6274 or
Mental Health Association of South MS’s Board of Directors invites you to join them in support of this year’s special event.
Funds raised will help to increase the capacity of the Opal Smith Drop In Center at Mental Health Association of South MS.  Activities at the Center are geared toward supporting the development of life and independent living skills.
·         You can give people the opportunity to design goals and make steps to achieve them.
·         You can instill confidence in someone who has a disability.
·         You can inspire someone to learn how to use a computer.
·         You can assist someone in understanding how to interact in a social setting.
·         You can provide breakfast and lunch for someone.
·         You can develop job skills for someone who wants to work.
·         You can help someone to discover that being unique is a blessing.
·         You can teach someone how to cook a meal on their own.
The goal is to raise $50,000 so that the quantity and quality of service provided at the Opal Smith Drop In Center can be increased.  These funds can help with things like: meals; educational materials; gardening/arts/crafts/janitorial/office supplies; accomplishment rewards; an update to our kitchen facility; transportation; utilities; insurance; postage; printing and other opportunities to provide education and support of the journey toward recovery from mental illness.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
